Ta’leem Center adopts the Orton – Gillingham method of teaching for students with learning challenges. This is a well-established and well-known method which utilizes good principles of teaching that takes into account the specific needs of the student (diagnostic teaching) as well as the gradual presentation of the skill (cumulative) and the utilization of the various senses to process and retain the information (multi-sensory). In addition to literacy and numeracy intervention being offered in English and Arabic, Ta’leem Center also seeks to offer cognitive training to enhance the learning process.
